I built Todayworks because paper diaries get filled in from memory, WhatsApp photos never become the job file, and the “proper” apps price like you’re running a fifty-person office. A four-person crew shouldn’t pay a seat tax before they’ve logged Monday.

Why I built it

I sell stone by day and build software for trade problems I’ve hit myself — STOCut for cutting plans, DupeStack for patio chemistry, Steadfast for faith and fitness, Waypoint for flights. Todayworks came from the same place: what happened on site, with the evidence attached, in a file you can hand a client or main contractor when it matters.

The bar is simple:

Log the day in about thirty seconds, one-handed, muddy boots
Write with zero bars — the phone is the source of truth, sync when signal returns
Photos have to arrive in the office, not die in a camera roll
The PDF has to look grown-up — logo, timestamps, photo appendix
