Live project · in-house platform
One desk for the whole stone business.
The Irish Stone Hub is the platform behind The Hillsborough Collection and Irish Stone. It is where the team quotes, costs, stocks, ships, invoices and publishes the catalogue the public site reads from. It stays in-house: nothing here is for sale, and there is no public sign-up.
The product
Overview
The Irish Stone Hub is the in-house platform behind The Hillsborough Collection and Irish Stone. It is not a product for sale: it is the desk the team works from, running on one catalogue and one price file.
Quoting is where it starts. A quick quote becomes a costed quote, with landed cost, freight, containers, ports and FX rates beside it, and the margin visible before the price goes out. Stock, stock orders, yard picks and deliveries are tracked against the same items the quotes use, so what is sold is what is held. When an order lands, the job, its invoices and the customer portal sit next to the quote that produced them.
The Hub also feeds and edits the public side. It publishes the storefront's product catalogue and the StoCAD catalogue as data feeds, STOCut hands a cutting pack back to the job it belongs to (phase one is live), and on the Merchant package StoMTO can bridge a draft quote pack into a Hub a merchant connects. Business development, the pipeline and the THC projects run on the same desk — quoting, sales and the yard in one place instead of seven tabs.
- 01Enquiry in
A call, a drawing or a show-card enquiry lands on the quote desk with the customer on it.
- 02Cost it
The stone, the freight, the container and the FX rate come off the same catalogue the quote is built on.
- 03Quote out
Preview the email, send the quote, and keep every revision and follow-up on the one record.
- 04Order and job
When it lands, the job, the stock, the paperwork and the customer's view follow from the same quote.
On the desk
Features
- Quote desk
Quick quote to costed quote, with quote groups, price groups and an email preview before anything goes out.
- Cost, freight and margin
Landed cost with freight, containers, ports, forwarders and FX rates, so a quote is priced on what the stone actually cost.
- Catalogue and price data
Ranges, types, materials, finishes, edges, dimensions, units and pricing rules in one maintained catalogue.
- Stock, containers and yard
Stock, stock orders, containers, shipping, deliveries and yard picks tracked against the same items the quotes use.
- Jobs, invoices and portal
The job, its invoices and the customer portal sit beside the quote, so the paperwork follows the order.
- BD, projects and tasks
Business development, pipeline, THC projects and the day's task lists run on the Hub beside the quotes.

Updated features
- Feeds for the public side
The storefront product feed and the StoCAD catalogue are generated from the Hub's own data, so the site reads what the desk has already priced.
- The STOCut cutting pack
STOCut hands a cutting pack to the Hub (phase one is live), keeping the cuts used on a job with the quote they came from.
- StoMTO draft quote pack
On the Merchant package, StoMTO can bridge a draft quote pack into the Hub that the merchant connects.
- Web editor
Content and catalogue edits for the public site are made on the Hub, rather than by editing the site by hand.

The step change
Major updates and improvements
- One desk, not seven tabs
Quoting, costing, stock, freight, jobs, business development and the website all read from one catalogue and one price file.
- Quotes that know their cost
Landed cost with freight, containers, ports and FX rates beside the price, so the margin is visible before the quote goes out.
- Joined to the sister products
The Hub publishes the product feed and the StoCAD catalogue, STOCut hands cutting packs in, and StoMTO can bridge a draft quote pack from Merchant.
- Staff-only by design
Sign-in is limited to the team. No public sign-up, and no customer accounts the business did not create.
What the Hub covers is taken from its own scope of works and integration notes (The Hillsborough Collection / Irish Stone), checked 10 October 2026. The Hub is staff-only, so no usage figures are given here.
In-house, and staying that way
The Hub is not sold and there is no sign-up: it is how Irish Stone works. For anything about the platform, or about buying stone, get in touch.
