Meet Phil

I’m Phil Stone. By day I’m Residential & Trade Sales Director at Irish Stone, working with homeowners, builders, contractors, hardscapers and landscapers — along with trade, retail and merchant accounts — across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. My role includes looking after The Hillsborough Collection — an Irish Stone brand. I help people choose the right granite, limestone, sandstone, marble and other materials — whether it’s something from the stockyard in Royal Hillsborough, or a piece cut and finished for a specific design. I also look after stock and purchasing, working with suppliers in countries including India, China, Egypt and Portugal.

Away from the yard I’m a husband to Amy and dad of four. Faith matters to me — I’m a follower of Jesus — and I try to get outside when I can: Cave Hill, Slieve Croob, Glenariff, the Mournes and the trails that keep me honest. I’ve also struggled with fitness, food and weight for a long time, which is why Steadfast exists. I built it for me first: workouts, run coaching, Bible reading and audio, prayer, food tracking and progress in one free place. It’s still in development; anyone who wishes can use it, and all feedback is welcome.

I’m also testing two longer private projects. Horizon is crypto trading automation from a dashboard (trial 1 Aug 2026 – 31 Jul 2027) — not advice and not an invitation to invest. Locktight is an overview model for my own pensions and investments over the same year. Both run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud.
